Sometimes in the night, in the mid wave band, the radio transmission from North Korea can "mix" with Shenyang local radio signal, unintentionally interferes the local broadcast. These nine entities all meet the definition of a foreign mission under the Foreign Missions Act, which is to say that they are substantially owned. The two distances are shorter than to China's capital, it is easier to receive the radio programmes from the Korean Peninsula, and no special equipment is required. This follows on the February 18 designation of Xinhua News Agency, China Global Television Network, China Radio International, China Daily Distribution Corporation, and Hai Tian Development USA. The distance from receiving place Shenyang to Pyongyang is about 374.3KM, to Seoul is about 565.4KM, and to Beijing is about 660.5KM. The programmes are political promotion news, editorials, songs and music. It later adopted the pinyin form Radio Beijing.
It was founded on December 3, 1941, as Radio Peking. It is currently headquartered in the Babaoshan area of Beijing 's Shijingshan District. Its content is the celebration of the festival. China Radio International ( CRI) is the state-owned international radio broadcaster of China. CRI's programs include news, current affairs, and features on politics, economy, culture, science and technology. CRI aims at promoting understanding and friendship between the people of China and people throughout the world.

I think the name "Radio Pyongyang" is clear, does not have ambiguity. In English language, word "Korea" may stand for both. In Chinese, Korean and Japanese languages, there are different words to distinguish the north and south.
